We pledge to use only the best techniques

Robb Pain Management Group has many powerful tools available to help relieve back (and other types of pain). These range from what are commonly called nerve blocks to procedures where Dr. Robb uses equipment that employs radio waves to destroy the pain-causing nerves or tissues. We call this technique radiofrequency denervation. Patients with localized pain that appears during certain twisting motions may have Facet Joint Disease.
For patients with chronic lower back pain, we may be able to use a procedure called spinal endcoscopy. If your back pain is caused by a herniated disc you could be a candidate for a type of percutaneous discectomy called DISC Nucleoplasty®.
There are always new procedures appearing in the medical literature. Most of these techniques are designed to minimize the stress on our patients and to improve their odds of full recovery. Part of our work at RPMG is to aggressively "keep up to date" with the latest pain-reducing treatements and technologies. This consumes a lot of our time, but it pays off in the quality of care we can offer.
We've also invested time perfecting the use of an innovation called Proliferant Therapy. We've come to the conclusion that it really can help many patients with certain back pain or other "soft-tissue" issues.
A new and very exciting treatment we now offer patients with specific types of spinal compression fractures due to osteoporosis or spinal tumors is Vertebroplasty. This process reinforces the compromised vertebrae using an advanced plastic resin. For many patients, this Vertebroplasty can help them return to a normal life after only a few days of rest.
We can make available to our patients many techniques that help all forms of pain. There are more than we can reasonably list here. If you've got back pain—or in fact any pain issues—please call us to discuss your care. We'll do your best to find a solution that improves your life.
If you're interested in a complete list of procedures we perform (including those treatments especially for treating back pain) examine the list on the Procedures page.
